Do you like Pandora bracelets? I know I love them. And I considered they would be a wonderful inspiration for our work with polymer clay.
When I started out working with polymer clay years ago, it was because I was amazed about the wonderful possibilities of creating beads and cabochons using polymer clay. Do you use polymer clay to make your own custom-made art beads? If not, I strongly encourage you to.
To get the look of Pandora-like beads, you will need to use eyelets. Please check the material list to see the materials and tools that you will need for this project.
The video tutorial is still rather long, but it is filled with inspiration and practical advice for your work with polymer clay.
As you will see, you will make four type of beads ( a silver textured faux metallic bead, faux metallic bead with 4 circular patterns all around, a rhinestone decorated bead and a marbled bead with a raised metallic design on top.
These are the materials and tools that you will need for this project.
- Polymer clay – I used turquoise Cernit 50% opacity, red Cernit 50% opacity, Cernit shinny blue, silver Cernit
- Eyelets
- Pandora-like chain
- Silver color chain and jump rings
- Dangle beads
- Charms
- Silver foil
- A texture plate (I used an Art Nouveau Fimo texture plate)
- Kato Poly clay
- Crystal Rhinestones
- Acrylic rhinestones
- Rigid and flexible blades
- Diamond Glaze
- Cernit glossy varnish
- A craft knife
- A pasta machine to condition the clay (I used an Imperia pasta machine)
- Small cutters: a round and oval
- Paintbrushes
- Weldbond adhesive
- A needle or a needle tool

Take good care about using this name, just to avoid problems with Pandora. They are heavy weight and use much money to layers to avoid others to use their name.

Yes, but they are made out of polymer clay and decorated with rhinestones. I love playing with the possibilities of polymer clay to look like something else. Have a beautiful day!
