Polymer Clay Virtual Workshop 2020 starts today – get your free access!

Hello dear friends!

I told you this was going to be a great year for polymer clay lovers. There’s so much interest and creative energy around polymer clay, I totally love it.

I’ve received a notice today about this virtual clay event and I wanted to let you know about it too. I’m not a teacher, nor an affiliate in the event, but I love everything related to polymer clay and I consider that it’s a great chance to learn and be inspired by all those amazing teachers that gracefully share their art and clay tips with us.

I had the time to watch today’s materials. It started with a conversation with Ronna Sarvas Weltman on Using Joy to Find Your Voice. And I can tell you that I found this discussion very interesting and I could certainly relate to lots of the things Ronna shared during the discussion. I know we all want to learn new techniques and tips (I also love this part), but it is very important as well to understand the creative process and how to find your voice, especially if you want to express yourself through your jewelry pieces. And we all love a hero’s journey story told by the hero or female hero.

The second material was a class taught by Diana Crialesi, you might know her as Archidee. She has lots of tutorials on Youtube especially on how to make clay canes. She also has a published book on how to make Macramé Jewelry and she’s also making fabulous soutache pieces. In her class you’ll learn how to make a feather cane, an eye cane and how to assemble everything into a faux soutache owl pendant (with a wire-wrapped branch decoration).

Here are the other teachers attending this clay event: Lisa Pavelka, Sandy Huntress, Laura Orihuela, Christi Friesen, Ludmila Bakulina, Angela Barenholtz, Lyn Gill, Adriana Allen, Ivana Brozova, Galina Milusenko, Elena Marunich, Irina Zubareva, Nicole Panda, Gloria Uhler, Pinilope Mavroudi, Klio Tsaliki, Svetlana Pavlova, Host: Evangelia Coello.

Here’s to link to register and watch the classes for free (free for a limited period of time):

I’m very happy that there’s so much interest for polymer clay. Personally I feel even more inspired and energized to create using clay.

As a side note, I and my husband got back yesterday from a city break to Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. We loved both Jerusalem and Tel Aviv (each city for different reasons). It was our first visit to Israel and we always hoped we’d go and see the Holy Sepulchre. And I can tell you that the visit to the Holy Sepulchre in itself is an impressive experience.

We loved the old city of Jaffa, the restaurants and the amazing food in Tel Aviv and the joyful spirit of the place.

    1. Thank you my dear Carolyn for your message! I’m sorry for replying so late…. I’m doing my best to organize myself, but sometimes I fall behind.
I hope you’re doing well. All your pieces of advice about choosing love over fear are very helpful for me in these moments.
I’m sending you my best thoughts of love, peace of mind, faith and courage!

      1. It’s wonderful to know that you are busily enjoying yourself.
And to you too; I do hope you and your family are well and happy.
        Lots of Love to You…

      2. Thank you, my dear Carolyn💖 for your beautiful message! I’m also glad to know that you are well. I’m trying to see the good part of things: my husband is working from home so I get to see him more during the day, my son is homeschooled so we’re spending more time with each other than we would normally do during the week. I just need to stay focused on what I really want to bring forth with my art and tutorials and thus I’m centered in the positive side of things.
I’m sending you and your family my best thoughts!
        Take good care of yourself!
Lots and lots of love from me to you too!
