I wanted to share with you this wonderful news. My Precious Moments neck piece is included in the January issue of the Passion for Polymer. Yay. I’m really happy. I’m celebrating!
As a side note, I hesitated a lot about adding the pearls to this design. You don’t see pearls and clay together very often. So I asked myself, would this be a faux pas?
But, I love pearls, real pearls as well as acrylic pearls, so I took the “bold” decision to use them in the finished piece. And it turned out to be a good idea. Because I had an amazing feedback from the clay community.
You know, I have prepared my house for Santa, but this surprise was not on the list:)
My son helped me decorate the house and we even had snow falling yesterday so this Winter
scenery is warming our hearts.
And there’s another thing I particularly like this time of the year. Something that I discovered since living in France. Meaning fondue (a melted cheese dish served in a communal pot (caquelon or fondue pot) over a portable stove (réchaud) heated with a candle or spirit lamp, and eaten by dipping bread into the cheese using long-stemmed forks). Normally you’d eat it in a mountain resort in France or Switzerland, but we enjoy eating it at home just as much.

Cand traiesti in afara tarii, o parte din cei dragi sunt departe…Dar asta a fost drumul nostru… si inca mai e. Am citit mereu cu interes postarile tale despre Romania. Si noi o portam in suflet si o sa vina si ziua, sper, cand o sa ajungem, din nou, acasa. In vizita sau definitiv. Cum o fi mai bine.
Iti urez si eu numai bine si iti multumesc pentru lucrurile frumoase pe care le arati tutoror despre Romania noastra!
