Hello dear friends!
This year has been a really rollercoaster for all of us. With all kind of ups and downs. Still we managed to use our creativity to stay afloat and our clay to keep our hands and minds busy.
I wanted to wish you a better year in 2021 and for all of us to find the path leading back to our true self.
And in order to finish this year in a beautiful way, I’m sharing with you a dangle earring idea, great to use with Cernit blue metallic clay.
I personally always loved dangle earrings so I can’t tell you how happy I am to make dangle earrings using clay.
And yes, everybody is interested in the new colors of clay that Cernit put on the market. So, if you bought some or are interested to get some for yourself, I came up with a simple and beautiful idea to inspire you to use such clays.
I’m also using the Blooms around the World Create Along silkscreen (and this is a silkscreen that has 4 floral designs) and it works great with acrylic paint or mica powders (I used gold mica powder to make these earrings).
Don’t forget to use varnish to protect the mica powder. I used glossy varnish, I preferred the glossy varnish look for this design.
At the end of the video I’ll show you three designs made using this idea: a small and cute pair of earrings, a pair of dangle earrings and the statement dangle earrings that you’ve seen on the cover of the video.
I hope you’ll like this idea and get inspired to create using metallic clays.

Beautiful earrings! I love the combination of turquoise and electric blue with the gold accents. Creativity has also kept me sane and busy during most part of 2020 and will probably be very useful during the begining of 2021 too. My best wishes for the New Year!
